It is our goal to place each child in the program that best suits his/ her needs and abilities. We aim to provide tailored programs for our students that allow them to feel good about themselves, their abilities, and to grow with support. Our school psychologist and professional team of teachers provide academic and behavioral assessments for students who are interested in joining Creative Children International School. These assessments are based on observational anecdotes and standardized academic testing. Previous school records are also beneficial in helping to know a child’s past performance, and strengths and weaknesses.

Admission depends solely upon successful assessment results and the availability of a place in the program or the class that best match the student's educational and/or emotional needs. Once the student has been accepted, parents will be contacted and informed about the outcome of the admission assessment and the status of the student's pending application.

Even though student's age may vary slightly in a given grade, however, students may be older than the minimum age cited by the ministry of education but they may not be younger.

NO CHILD CAN BE ADMITTED TO THE SCHOOL UNTIL ALL THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURES HAVE BEEN ADHERED TO AND THE CHILD’S FILE IS COMPLETE. THIS IS A MINISTRY RULING.

A transport service is provided by the school and arrangements must be made directly to the Business Office/ Transport In-Charge. Parents are strongly advised to book their transport well in advance. You are kindly asked to submit your application and address to the school secretary.

A qualified nurse is available to provide first aid care to CCIS students. Parents must notify the nurse of any health problems their children may have and if a student is taking medication. Students who become ill during class time should get a note from the teacher and go directly to the Health Office. If the nurse feels that the student is too ill to continue in school, she will call the parent or guardian to inform them that the child should be picked up. No Child will be released to go home without prior authorization from the parent or guardian.

CCIS has evacuation and fire drill procedures in place in case of emergency. These procedures will be practiced periodically throughout the year to allow students and teachers to be familiar with the expectations and processes

A range of text books (Houghton Miflin / Harcourt / Steck Vaughn.) are used for reinforcement and revision of skills that are needed for the student to progress academically. In addition, a Multi-sensory teaching method is used to optimize learning in students. Exercises books will be distributed through class teachers upon payment. Parents are requested to contact the teachers for the necessary arrangements.

Each child will be issued with a supply of text books that must be properly covered with a transparent covering (laminated), which are available at stationary shops. Text books will be numbered and must be returned at the end of the school year.
